In the 1940's, the Great Depression was drawing to a close, bringing with it a hope for a brighter economic future. Yet there was also uncertainty on the world stage as a war loomed. To cope, people turned to their radios to stay informed as well as to escape for an hour or two each evening. Radio personalities and musicians helped Americans through the war and the years following.

The Ensemble received a $500 Award from KAKEland Cares and DeVaughn James Injury Attorneys that will help underwrite our 40's Performance Series. We're taking 40's music and dancing to those who remember the 40's!
