In the 1940's, the Great Depression was drawing to a close, bringing with it a hope for a brighter economic future. Yet there was also uncertainty on the world stage as a war loomed. To cope, people turned to their radios to stay informed as well as to escape for an hour or two each evening. Radio personalities and musicians helped Americans through the war and the years following. Sound of the Heartland’s 1940’s Radio Show will take you back to this golden age of radio to experience it for yourself.   Tickets here
