We are delighted that you are interested in auditioning with the Sound of the Heartland chorus! Congratulations for choosing to do something for You!

In 2024, Sound of the Heartland came in 2nd Small Chorus and 4th Place overall at the Sweet Adelines Region 25 Contest! We loved putting our best on that stage and earning those medals! This past year was very special, because it was our 50th Anniversary, and we brought 4 brand new singers on stage with us to perform with us. 

YOU CAN BE A PART OF THE EXCITEMENT!

If you love to sing, we'd love to meet you! We are always looking for energetic, vocally talented women who are interested in being the best singers they can possibly be. We are looking for every voice type, from high highs to low lows, and people who love to harmonize. The ability to read music is helpful, but not required.

Our chorus meets every Thursday at 7pm at First Baptist Church, 200 W. 6^th, in Newton, KS. During rehearsals we work hard and have a lot of fun.  At a rehearsal, you will participate in physical and vocal warm-ups, section rehearsals, and full chorus run throughs.  We will be offering education on what we do and how to become a better singer! With members from central Kansas from McPherson to Wichita (and beyond) you'll fit right in to our small group.
